CHAIR TILTING BACK OUTDOOR BY CASSINA
A design icon, this outdoor armchair with a light and compact seat. The balance between form and function relies on the use of Modulor, a system based on standard measurements of the human body and a mathematical language based on universal harmony proportions.
Presented in 1929 with other important models such as the Grand Confort Armchair, the small model and the Grand Confort Armchair, the large model armchairs, the Airplane Tube Table and the continuously adjustable Chaise longue. Like all of Le Corbusier's works, the Armchair with tilting back also comes from a study on body posture and presents itself as the perfect support for composed relaxation which predisposes to conversation.
Its perfect simplicity of composition, adaptable to different outdoor contexts, is also available with special relief painting in different colors and a dedicated collection of coverings.
