Iconic, innovative, timeless. Designed in 1928 and exhibited at the Paris Salon d'Automne in 1929, Chaise longue with adjustment continues to express the correspondence between form and function in the balance achieved between geometric purity and comfort.
Based on the analysis of rest chairs and the proportions synthesized by Le Corbusier's Modulor, Cassina's continuously adjustable chaise longue embodies the notion of comfort in the seat modeled according to the natural lines of the body.
The cradle, in trivalent chrome steel, tilts to promote relaxation and its stability is ensured by friction with the rubber tubes which cover the crosspieces of the base. Covered in fabric, leather and leather with fur.
