Designed by Rietveld in 1918, Red & Blue is a design armchair in the guise of a Rationalist geometric sculpture. A genuine masterpiece of design, among the foremost examples of Neoplasticism promoted by the Dutch De Stijl movement.

Birch plywood panel with beech veneered edges and tops.
Finishing halfpolished, in blue (seat) and red (backrest).
Structure
Massive beech wood. Finishing matt black lacquered, with crossbar edges in yellow. The construction system of
the frame of the chair is based exclusively on a sequence of joints and wooden pins.
